
Prof. Dr. Yuttana Kumsuwan

Yuttana Kumsuwan (M’12), B.Eng., M.Eng., Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, P.Eng. (Thailand) has been a teacher at Rajamangala Institute of Technology and Chiang Mai University, Thailand for more than 20 years. From 2007 to 2008, he was a Visiting Professor at Texas A&M University, College Station, USA and at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ryerson University, Toronto, ON, Canada in 2010. He joined the Chiang Mai University, Chiang Mai, Thailand, in 2011, where he is currently a Professor in Electrical Engineering. He has authored or coauthored more than 80 technical papers in the area of power electronic applications, electric drives, and renewable energy systems. Dr. Kumsuwan is an active member of IEEE Industrial Electronics Society and Power Electronics Society. He served as an associate editor for ECTI-EEC transaction. He was also the Technical Program Co-Chairman of International Conference on Electrical Machines and Systems (ICEMS) 2015. In addition, he received the iEECON Paper Award in 2014, the IECON Industrial Electronics Society Paper Award in 2016, and the ECTI-CON Paper Awards in 2013, 2015, 2016, and 2020, respectively. Lastly, he served as a general chair, ECTI-CON 2021.
